Setting up an Online Store!

October 30th, 2011 by Aaron

Online shopping has exploded over the last decade, with sites like Ebay, Amazon, and so many others paving the way. Online stores are a great way to bring in extra income to your site, and allow you to expand with very little expense to your small business. So with so many options available how should you go about starting an online store/business.

First hire a professional web developer to create and stylize your eCommerce site with full css3 and html5 coding. Ensure that you will get the SEO that you need to get the maximum potential from your site, and allow people to find your products simply. Make sure that you use a great online eCommerce service for the shopping cart, inventory control, and shipping issues that become relevant when you have an online store.

Many of the large eCommerce platforms provide the same features, and hosting prices are determined by the amount of products you have online at any given time. Our two favorite platforms to use with our clients are BigCommerce and 3dCart. They both have great features, such as mobile marketing site integration, facebook and twitter feeds, blog add ons, and of course all of the store features that are required for a successful and user friendly shopping experience. Email us about how to take your business to the next step with an online eCommerce site or check out 3dCart or BigCommerce for yourself and you too will see all of the benefits that come from a user friendly and powerful shopping platform.

Color Styling with Red Giants “magic bullet looks 2″

September 26th, 2011 by Aaron

Color Correction is a task that some overlook, some simply dread, and others obsess over. I myself have fallen into each of the categories at one point or another, with the increase of video technology it takes more and more to stand out from the crowd. Every little detail can help in making your video stand out, from editing techniques to music, but most importantly the quality of the video. This is where color styling can give your video the leading edge, and “looks 2″ from Red Giants ‘Magic Bullet’ suite is possibly the most outstanding, time saving, and easy method to creating the mood you want to portray with color correction and stylization. I was fortunate enough to have access to this little gem when editing the promo we made  for Christian Bird Racing in premiere pro.

The details of this software are deserving of multiple video tutorials, and really the software is so powerful that it would be near impossible to cover in one video. It was extremely nice to set the look and feel I wanted to achieve, and even use different looks for different shots to portray separation of shots. The outcome exceeded all expectations, and really opened my eyes to the ability I now possess to create video on a new level. For anyone looking at stepping there video up to the next level, Red Giants “magic bullet looks 2″ is worth taking a look at, and as all Red Giant software the quality and power is sure not to disappoint! You can find the software at their website: here! Be sure to keep an eye out for future tutorials on this software as I myself get familiar with the vast capabilities I now have with it!

Create HDR Video

September 22nd, 2011 by Aaron

In this video tutorial we will take some HD footage and give it the high dynamic range look you typically only see in photography!

Creating true HDR video is very tricky,  and most of us dont have the ability to shoot the same shot with multiple cameras, or shoot the same scene multiple times at different exposures. In this tutorial we show you how you can mimic “faking” HDR in photography and apply it to your video. Using Adobe After Effects CS5.5, Photoshop CS5, and Topaz Lab’s “Adjust 4″ you can give your video that amazing HDR look!
